Lola’s boyfriend asks if she believes, hands her a card, then shoots himself. His death drives Lola to investigate his suicide and her parents’ murder. The card pulls her into Spain’s Chinese triad, where a nervous young man obsessed with Chinese news clippings helps. Plunged into the underworld, Lola finds answers but loses more than she imagined.
