Directed by Gao Qunshu, the film depicts the Far East trial after Japan’s WWII surrender, from Chinese judge Mei Ju‑ao’s view. Based on a year of research, it features a multinational cast, including Kenneth Tsang, performing in Chinese, English and Japanese. It screened in cinemas and at 100 Chinese universities to mark the 75th anniversary of Japan’s invasion.
