Every century the dark sorceress Morgana returns to seize Fingall’s talisman from Merlin and use it to end the world; after fourteen centuries of failure she now seeks total conquest. Newcomer Ben Clark, scarred like the ancient staff‑bearer, befriends his elderly neighbor Milner, who is revealed as Merlin. As Morgana attacks, Ben must choose between good and evil, using his innate magical talent to determine humanity’s fate.
