When the diligent carpenter rejects it and sticks to his original plan, the panther hijacks the materials, sabotages the work with a burst of nails and a runaway saw, and slips a blue‑tinted copy of his plan into the carpenter’s pocket. The carpenter unwittingly builds the fancy façade, but the elaborate front collapses, revealing his simple cape‑style home.
