Sheriff Joe Williams is falsely blamed for murdering a young couple—a crime actually committed by the Mexican gang La Muerte. As a fugitive, Joe steals and hides the gang’s loot from a recent bank robbery, only to be captured by the same criminals. Meanwhile, his friend, the new sheriff, follows the trail to clear Joe’s name.
