In 1964 Athens, police reporter Nikos Avgeris is tasked with covering a mysterious car crash that killed a state official. He learns the victim handled finances for a large construction firm that misused money meant for housing war‑wounded veterans. The firm tries to silence Avgeris, but he survives, persists, and ultimately exposes the corruption.
