In southeastern Turkey, Avdel struggles to support his family with the help of his aging donkey, Bozo, who works in the city’s waste department. His nephew, Salih, has also sought refuge in Mardin, escaping the Syrian war. When Bozo is no longer able to work, Avdel faces the daunting task of finding a replacement to maintain his family’s income. Deeply affected by his experiences in Syria, Salih ultimately decides to return to his homeland.
