In the film's chilling conclusion, the main characters attempt a ritual to trap the demon Abyzou and save Claire and her unborn baby. Art, who has been drawn into the supernatural chaos, is asked to sacrifice himself by killing his own body to imprison the demon within him. As the ritual unfolds, the demon manipulates Art’s mind, showing him visions of Claire in danger and tempting him to abandon the protective circle. Despite his efforts to complete the ritual, he is ultimately betrayed when he drops the amulet, and the demon escapes, feeding on Claire and her child. The film ends with a bleak note, suggesting that Abyzou remains uncontained and continues to roam freely, hunting for children in the mortal world. The ending underscores the relentless and destructive nature of dark forces, and the tragic sacrifices that are required—or ignored—in the face of ancient evil."
