Agent Cyril Juan Borguette, alias W4C, is sent to a Prague hotel to retrieve a saltcellar hiding a plan for the military exploitation of Venus and deliver it to agent Alice. He must outmaneuver rival spies from various powers. The local counter‑intelligence chief, lacking agents, assigns accountant Foustka—13B—and his dog Pajda, who track W4C to the hotel, turning it into a battleground for the coveted artifact.
