Set in 1952, the film tracks the “Peace Run,” a three‑day propaganda marathon promoting peace. The victor is promised a brand‑new motorcycle presented by the president. The event’s chief organizer, a cold‑hearted manipulator, will go to any lengths to ensure his chosen contestant wins. Two competitors, Budny and Stolar, join the race driven by very different personal reasons.
