As Moondog embraces his life of excess, tensions rise within his family. His daughter, Heather, is anxious about her upcoming marriage and disapproves of her father's reckless antics, which are a source of embarrassment at family gatherings.

Unbeknownst to Moondog, his wife, Minnie, is involved in a passionate affair with his friend, Lingerie, an R&B singer. This betrayal adds layers of complexity to Moondog's already tumultuous life and relationships.
