A determined young boy assumes the roles of pilot, crew member and mechanic, while a spirited little girl takes on the duties of the titular air hostess. Together they strive to coax a dilapidated aircraft into the sky and transport its full complement of adult passengers to their destination, but their well‑meaning efforts devolve into a series of spectacularly comic failures.
