Jordan, the police chief’s son, and his friends Glenn and Russel Derrek record their assaults on local girls such as Tira. When a boy tries to report them, he is shoved and the incident is staged as an accident. Sam Cooper witnesses the shove, is threatened, her mother’s car is sabotaged and drugs are placed in her locker, prompting an anonymous tip that lands Sam in jail. Derrek promises Sam’s mother Laura to testify, survives a staged “car crash,” and Laura and Tira’s mother Shawna enlist Officer Brady Thomas to investigate, while Chief Bates begins to suspect his son, torn between duty and loyalty.
