A gritty prison drama set amid the harsh Australian outback, filmed in the Clare Valley, Gladstone and the Flinders Ranges. Inspired by the real 1974 Bathurst Jail riot and the ensuing Royal Commission into New South Wales prisons, it follows inmates whose hatred, desperation and brutality drive them toward an unstoppable rebellion.
