Upper-Egyptian Khader Hassanein enlists in the Central Security Forces and, during a train ride, encounters Metwally Al-Zanati. Metwally reveals his long-standing vow to avenge his father’s murder twenty years earlier and asks Khader to help. When Khader discovers that he is the very man Metwally intends to kill, the two are forced into a deadly confrontation.
