Shaolin Dolemite re‑dubs footage from 1986 Taiwanese kung fu film Ren zhe da (released as Ninja: The Final Duel). Producer Robert Tai filmed about 10 hours; only 90 minutes were released. The cut restores much of the unused material, adds Moore's profanity‑laden commentary, and features scenes with Jimmy Lynch as the drunken master Sam the Spliff.
