The film begins with the death of Mama Loa, the revered leader of a powerful voodoo cult. Her passing sparks a fierce debate among the cult members regarding who will lead them next.

As the cult members rally around Lisa Fortier, tensions rise with fellow member Willis. He feels threatened by Lisa's rising influence and the potential shift in power within the cult.

In a desperate attempt to consolidate his power, Willis performs a dark ritual. He unearths the bones of Prince Mamuwalde, known as Blacula, and attempts to resurrect him for his own gain.

Willis succeeds in bringing Blacula back to life, marking the beginning of a horrific chain of events. Once resurrected, Blacula wastes no time in vampirizing Willis, establishing his dominance.

As Blacula begins to vampirize more cult members, the contagion of vampirism spreads through the group. Friends and cult members fall victim to his deadly influence, creating widespread panic.

During a lively gathering hosted by Justin, Lisa captures Blacula’s attention. He is enamored with an ancient necklace that belonged to his long-lost wife, Luva, which Lisa possesses.

Blacula believes that Lisa holds the key to breaking his curse. He approaches her with the hope that she can perform a voodoo exorcism to free him from his vampiric existence.

As bodies begin to appear bloodless and people go missing, Justin gets involved with the police. Together, they start connecting the mysterious occurrences back to the awakening of Blacula.

Initially, Lisa is sympathetic to Blacula's plight and agrees to help him with the exorcism. She feels compassion for his tragic story and the curse he endures.

The ritual is interrupted when Justin arrives with police officers, aiming to eliminate the vampire threat. The disruption creates a chaotic scene and puts Lisa and Blacula in a precarious position.

Enraged by the interference, Blacula unleashes a deadly rampage targeting the police officers. He aims to eliminate anyone who threatens his chance at redemption and freedom.

As Blacula continues his violent spree, he zeroes in on Justin, posing a direct threat to his life. Lisa realizes the danger both she and Justin are in and the need to act quickly.

In a gripping climax, Lisa takes drastic action, utilizing the voodoo doll she created for the exorcism. She repeatedly drives a wooden arrow into its heart, inflicting suffering upon Blacula.
