Satanic

Elise, along with her boyfriend Seth, her cousin Chloe, and Chloe's boyfriend David, embark on a road trip to Coachella. However, they quickly become lost in downtown Los Angeles, setting the stage for a series of unsettling events.

The group checks into the Flower Hotel, with Elise specifically requesting room 204. This room is notorious for its dark past, as it is the location where Laney Gore, an early member of Anton LaVey's Church of Satan, tragically took her own life in 1972.

After a day spent exploring iconic Los Angeles sights like Hollywood and Santa Monica, the friends decide to investigate further. They follow a man named Anthony from an occult shop, unknowingly leading themselves into a dangerous situation.

The group stumbles upon what they believe to be a Satanic ritual in a remote area. When Chloe accidentally reveals their presence, chaos ensues, forcing the group to flee the scene, during which Seth loses his phone.

The day after their encounter, Alice, the young woman from the ritual, calls using Seth's lost phone. She explains that what they witnessed was actually her excommunication from the cult, leading the group to invite her to stay with them at the hotel.

While in their hotel room, Alice shares the unsettling history of room 204, telling the group about Laney's ritualistic suicide. She describes how Laney once attempted to draw a doorway to Hell, leaving the group in a state of eerie discomfort.

Alice takes the lead and conducts a summoning ritual in the hotel room. As she draws an inverted pentagram on the wall, the atmosphere turns chaotic when Alice violently deteriorates, ultimately leading her to take her own life right before their eyes.

Following Alice's tragic death, a police investigation begins. Seeking safety, David moves the group to his cousin's empty house, but supernatural disturbances soon start plaguing them, including an unsettling scene with dead birds in the pool.

Frustrated by the haunting occurrences, David confronts Anthony at the occult shop. After a heated exchange, Anthony reveals the reasons behind Alice’s banishment from the cult, further deepening the group's sense of dread.

As tensions rise, Elise suddenly becomes gravely ill during their journey back home. Alarmingly, she finds two slash marks on her skin, intensifying the horror as she mysteriously disappears from a port-a-potty moments later.

Seth hears Elise's voice coming from a building and rushes inside, only to encounter a bloody scene as he vanishes, leaving behind a trail of blood and additional slash marks. Chloe and David’s frantic search begins as they realize the true horror unfolding.

As fear escalates, David discovers he has been marked with four slashes and is separated from Chloe. This newfound mark aligns him with the increasingly sinister elements at play, heightening the tension amongst the remaining survivors.

Trapped in the building, Chloe suffers nightmarish visions of her friends' mutilations. In a chilling moment of clarity, she realizes she has become the observer from her first night in Los Angeles, bringing her horrifying predicament full circle.

Chloe, now marked with five slashes, faces an unseen terror lurking in the shadows. As her situation becomes increasingly desperate, she finds herself powerless, witnessing her fate unfold in an atmosphere thick with dread and uncertainty.
