Rodney creates a gadget called Wonderbot to help his father with his dishwashing job. Unfortunately, a mishap occurs when their boss, Mr. Gunk, confronts them, leading to the destruction of dishes and Herb losing his job.

Determined to support his family and make a difference, Rodney sets out for Robot City in hopes of joining Bigweld Industries. His journey signifies his commitment to creating a better future for himself and his loved ones.
