The short documentary chronicles Africville, a Black neighbourhood on Halifax’s edge, whose families were displaced and homes razed in the 1960s under the banner of urban renewal and integration. Today the former site is a sparse, under‑used park. Former residents, descendants and officials recount the forced relocation, aided by archival photos and footage.
