A free‑spirited elderly pair, Pak Atan and Mak Inom, grow weary of urban life and move to the countryside, hoping for peace. Their idyllic expectations are shattered when distant relative Yem swindles them out of money, prompting them to cut ties and sparking Yem’s vengeful schemes. Meanwhile, in the city, their daughter Orked attracts the attention of a young gentleman, adding a parallel romantic thread.
