Twenty‑year‑old Tsukimi Kurashita, barely able to see without glasses, moves from Kagoshima to Tokyo hoping to become an illustrator. Unenrolled in college and unable to sell her work, she lives in a share house populated by otaku women. Fond of jellyfish because they remind her of her late mother, she meets Kuranosuke Koibuchi—a fashion‑obsessed man who enjoys dressing as a woman—and his older brother Shu. Their friendship pulls Tsukimi out of her routine and shifts her outlook on life.
