Inspired by David Bowie’s album and Nicholas Roeg’s film, The Man Who Fell to Earth, Lazarus tells the story of Thomas Newton, an extraterrestrial stranded on Earth. Years have passed, and he exists as a man unable to die, struggling with alcoholism and memories of a lost love. Over the course of a few days, the arrival of another lost soul offers the possibility of liberation from his earthly existence.
