Twelve-year-old Pablo, known as Pellet, lives in a deeply abusive household dominated by his tyrannical father. The atmosphere at home is filled with fear and pain, leading Pablo to feel trapped and isolated from the outside world.

After a joyful family outing with Alfredo's family, Pablo is caught in the rain, leading to a crucial moment. It is then that Alfredo notices the bruises and scars on Pablo's body, uncovering the dark secret that Pablo has been hiding.

When confronted about his injuries, Pablo tries to brush it off, claiming he fell. However, Alfredo is not convinced and becomes increasingly worried about Pablo's well-being, prompting him to tell his parents about what he saw.

Following the incident, Pablo disappears from school for an entire week, causing concern among Alfredo and his family. Despite their worries, Pablo feels too frightened to reveal the truth about the abuse he suffers at home.
