Tony Sebastian wins a bout by using dirty tactics, culminating in the killing of his opponent. His coach, Vijayendra, is appalled and resolves to find another student if Tony won't reform. This sets the stage for a shift toward a purer kind of fighter.

Vijayendra travels to Gajendragarh to meet Sarkar, a former wrestler living there. He learns the story of Krishna, an orphan who fought off a group of boys to earn food, which impressed Sarkar. Sarkar adopts Krishna and trains him into a wrestler named Kichcha.

Under Sarkar's mentorship, Kichcha rises as a dominant wrestler, winning every competition he enters. The training solidifies his bond with Sarkar and his resolve to prove himself. This period marks his emergence as a top wrestler.

During a wrestling match, a goon mocks Sarkar, prompting Kichcha to confront him and his henchmen in a temple. Rukmini witnesses the confrontation and is drawn to Kichcha. Despite Kichcha's vow to avoid love until national glory, they fall in love.

The goon has ties to Raja Rana Pratap Singh, an oppressive ruler who demands that Kichcha defeat him in a wrestling match to fulfill his father's dream. The antagonist's presence frames a larger challenge for Kichcha.

Rukmini's father opposes the union, suspecting Kichcha is after her wealth. He reports Kichcha to Sarkar, who privately advises him to focus on wrestling instead of marriage.

On the same day, Kichcha defeats Rana in the arena and fulfills the implicit vow tied to his destiny. He then marries Rukmini despite her father's objections, sealing their bond amid the turmoil.

Rukmini's father insults Sarkar, prompting Sarkar to order Kichcha to leave the house along with his wife and the wrestling teachings. The couple is cast out, forcing them to seek a new path.

Years pass as Kichcha and his wife live a simple life with their daughter, taking small jobs to survive. Rana remains haunted by his defeat and periodically visits to threaten another match, but Kichcha steadfastly declines.

Vijayendra tracks down Kichcha and seeks to rekindle his fighting career, signaling a return to the ring for the sake of greater goals. The reunion sets the stage for a boxing-focused comeback.

Rukmini's father meets Sarkar and explains that Kichcha was never after wealth. He reveals that Kichcha brought his daughter and granddaughter to the hospital to meet him, clearing the misunderstandings.

Rana kidnaps Kichcha's daughter, and goons beat him when he refuses to wrestle. Sarkar arrives to back him up, and a battered Kichcha defeats Rana, leading to Rana's arrest and a reunion with Sarkar.

Impressed by his fighting skills, Vijayendra urges Kichcha to train for a boxing match, outlining a plan to use his talent for good by helping the poor. Kichcha agrees to switch focus from wrestling to boxing.

Sarkar and Vijayendra oversee intensive boxing training. On match day, Kichcha struggles at first, even using illegal wrestling moves, but a vision check with a doctor helps him resume. He overcomes the pain and defeats Tony.

After the victory, Tony receives a cookie from Vijayendra's bakery as a lighthearted joke. Kichcha commits to entering the national championship to represent India and to help underprivileged yet talented children achieve their dreams.
