Off the coast of Scotland, the Pullar family represents one of the last families using traditional methods to fish for wild Atlantic salmon. Their practices, which involve managing seal populations—the salmon’s natural predators—spark conflict with animal activist groups like Sea Shepherd and Hunt Saboteurs. Despite the legality of the fishermen’s actions, the activists relentlessly challenge their livelihood, prompting a complex examination of modern environmentalism and the clash between tradition and activism.
