Boccaccio (also known as The Nights of Boccaccio) is a 1972 Italian comedy written and directed by Bruno Corbucci. Loosely inspired by Giovanni Boccaccio’s Decameron, it joins a wave of 1970s Italian farcical films that followed the popularity of Pier Paolo Pasolini’s The Decameron, offering a series of bawdy episodes set in medieval times.
