Screams of terror are muffled only by shattering glass. As a child, Cathy tries to stop her mother from kissing a man while driving, causing the crash that kills her mother. Sixteen years later she assumes the name Helen and works as a disturbed actress. When rehearsals for her new play begin, the cast experiences horrifying, unexplained events.
