The time frame emphasizes scarcity, surveillance, and the peril faced by children caught in the Regime’s indoctrination and recruitment system.

Set in a near-future North America, Night Raiders unfolds across forests and drone-surveillance ruled cities. The landscape is scarred by war and environmental decay, with the Regime controlling movement and access to resources. Key locations include a makeshift wooden dwelling in the woods, a drone-patrolled city, the Emerson Academy, and a Cree camp in the north where the prophecy and resistance intersect.

The Regime maintains control through drones, propaganda, and forced schooling, revealing how authoritarian power can shape everyday life.
