After the events of *Friday*, Craig's father, Willie, suggests relocating to Rancho Cucamonga for his safety. Craig reluctantly agrees to move in with his uncle Elroy and cousin Day-Day, hoping for a fresh start away from trouble.

Settling into his new life, Craig observes the lavish lifestyle of his uncle Elroy and cousin Day-Day, who recently won the lottery. Their joy is overshadowed by Elroy's lazy lifestyle, which includes excessive marijuana use and filming scandalous home videos.

Day-Day attempts to maintain his composure during his job at a record store, facing constant harassment from his pregnant ex-girlfriend D'Wana. The stress escalates when Day-Day struggles to fend off D'Wana and her aggressive sister, Baby D.

Craig and Day-Day take a tour of their new neighborhood, where they meet Mrs. Ho-Kym, their neighbor. They soon notice trouble brewing with their neighbors, the Joker brothers, who return home in a flashy lowrider.

Day-Day reveals the harsh truth about their lottery win to Craig, explaining that after taxes and fees, they are left with barely enough to cover their living expenses. This reality sets the stage for further financial struggles.

A letter carrier brings a delinquency notice to Day-Day and Craig, warning them that their home may soon be repossessed. This news adds immense pressure on Day-Day, who is already dealing with personal conflicts at work.

To unwind, Craig decides to smoke a joint with his relatives, but it proves too potent, leaving him unconscious. This incident reflects the comical yet chaotic lifestyle Craig finds himself immersed in.

Craig visits Day-Day at the record store, where chaos erupts when D'Wana and Baby D vandalize Day-Day's car again. In an attempt to confront them, a physical altercation ensues, leaving Day-Day at a disadvantage against Baby D.

During a tense encounter at the store, Pinky mistakes Craig for a robber, resulting in a standoff involving a gun. Luckily, Craig clears up the misunderstanding, but he and his friend Roach are fired from their jobs as a result.

Determined to recover their finances, Craig, Day-Day, and Roach devise a plan to confront the Joker brothers, believing they have hidden cash. They manage to incapacitate the Joker's guard dog, Chico, with an edible treat.

While the Joker brothers celebrate, Craig sneaks into their house and discovers a stash of drug money hidden within a hydraulic pump. However, his escape is narrowly timed as he nearly gets caught by Baby Joker.

Growing concerned about Craig's whereabouts, Day-Day and Roach decide to check on the Joker brothers. Unfortunately, they are taken hostage by the armed brothers, who are desperate to recover their missing money.

In a twist of fate, Craig's father Willie teams up with Uncle Elroy to confront the Joker brothers. Utilizing their combined strength, they manage to overpower two of the brothers and rescue Day-Day and Roach.

Just as the situation becomes dire, the police arrive to apprehend the Joker brothers on drug charges. Additionally, they re-arrest Deebo and his brother Tyrone, who were seeking vengeance against Craig.

In the aftermath, Craig helps Day-Day and Elroy by handing over the cash he found in the hydraulic pump, resolving their financial troubles. Craig learns that suburban life can be just as dangerous as the streets he came from.
