Driven by ambition, journalist Gareth Jones travels to Moscow as Hitler’s influence grows and Stalin’s Soviet Union promotes a carefully constructed image. During his journey, he uncovers a disturbing truth about the famine gripping Ukraine. Risking his career and safety, Jones attempts to expose the manufactured reality to the world, a deception that deeply influenced George Orwell’s Animal Farm. He finds himself embroiled in a dangerous conspiracy as he fights to reveal the lies.
