Mikey, a young husband and father, finds himself unexpectedly staying at his parents’ loft in New York. His extended visit triggers emotional complications as he struggles to explain his prolonged presence. He constructs elaborate excuses, feeling increasingly torn between the familiar comfort of his childhood home and the observant judgment of his father, who seems to see right through him.
