Mob, Reigen, Dimple, new staff member Serizawa, and friends Ritsu and Teru travel to the remote Ibogami Hot Springs in Zebra Prefecture after the inn’s matron asks Reigen to investigate strange rumors and save the lodge. While on the train, Reigen and Serizawa nod off and are drawn into an eerie parallel world, leaving the rest of the group to enjoy a surprisingly soothing getaway.
