Lupe and Leon become entangled with Treasury agents, gem‑runners and a wayward elephant statuette. Smugglers hide a large diamond inside the tiny elephant and slip it onto the absent‑minded Lord Epping to evade customs. When the lord visits his look‑alike Uncle Matt Lindsay, Diana’s flirtatious plan to retrieve the elephant sparks comic chaos, with the fiery, now‑blonde Carmelita in a prominent spitfire role.
