After a woman is discovered strangled in her shop, a second killing occurs under identical circumstances. Both victims share the name Sonja, heightening the horror. Investigators are convinced a single perpetrator is responsible, especially since each crime scene is accompanied by a woman’s haunting rendition of the same song, soon labeled the “murder melody.”
