In a rural area, young Alan and his friend Becky steal a creepy wooden box that holds a powerful voodoo stick from a neighbor who practices voodoo. When Alan draws the stick, his drunken father is attacked by a snake and disappears.Years later, now married, Alan and Becky plant flowers to honor Alan’s mother’s death; Becky uncovers the buried box and slips the stick into her pocket.Meanwhile, five friends are cruising in a monster‑truck, drinking beer. The driver accidentally runs over Becky, thinking he hit an animal. When Alan witnesses his wife’s death, he seizes the stick and pursues ruthless revenge against the reckless youngsters.
