Based on ancient Peruvian myths illustrated by Soviet ethnographer Yuri Beryozkin from Mochica drawings, the story is set 1,500 years ago. Two demigod brothers bring a sacred frog to the human world, providing joy and refuge from monsters. After a battle, the monster Rikuay survives, deceives the younger brother, and allies with the witch Rica, who urges the brother to give humanity a deadly weapon. The gods intervene, and the older brother saves the people from total destruction.
