He brings them to Latitude Zero, a vast, sun‑lit city beneath the ocean that resembles an Atlantean utopia. There they discover that McKenzie is locked in a battle with the ruthless Dr. Malic, who conducts genetic experiments and seeks world domination. Malic’s agents kidnap Dr. Okada, the scientist who created a serum that protects against radiation.
