Kingpin is a 2003 American crime drama that aired on NBC in the U.S. and CTV in Canada, running six episodes. Styled as NBC’s answer to The Sopranos and inspired by The Godfather, Macbeth and Traffik, it follows Mexican drug kingpin Miguel Cadena and his family. Planned as a springboard for a full series, low ratings stopped further development. NBC promos featured the track “Más” by Kinky.
