Following the death of her father in a plane crash—a loss following the earlier passing of her adoptive mother—fourteen-year-old Allison is unexpectedly reunited with her biological mother, Jessica, at the funeral. She also meets her half-sister, Sydni. However, Jessica harbors a dark secret and a plan to seize control of the substantial 40 million dollar inheritance Allison is due to receive, and she’s willing to go to any length to achieve her goal.
