Dead bodies keep piling up, and the only leads the two Los Angeles homicide detectives have point to Barbara, the business manager of a thriving architectural firm she runs with her husband Lance. Each victim was an intern at the firm and also one of Barbara’s secret lovers, hidden in a stylish apartment she owns and monitored by Lance via closed‑circuit TV. Kyle, the newest intern and lover, finds himself in danger while falling for Barbara, and the feeling may be mutual. Meanwhile, Erin, the myopic administrative assistant, and Tony, Kyle’s former roommate who also knows Barbara, add to the web of intrigue. The detectives race to stop the killings before more lives are lost.
