Twenty‑two years after his father's disappearance, Wataru Kurenai lives in a haunted house and becomes Kamen Rider Kiva, fighting Fangires—vampiric beings that drain life force and can assume stained‑glass‑like monster forms. The story switches between Wataru’s present (2008‑09) and his father Otoya’s past (1986‑87), revealing the link between the Fangires and the Kiva legacy.
