The trial of meek accountant Sanford Lagelfost, accused of stealing $3 million from Trout Industries, assembles an eclectic jury – waiter Eddie, call‑girl Rita, mogul Phil and ex‑hippie activist Abby. When witness Hope Hathaway testifies about Sanford’s romantic exploits, he becomes a media sensation. The judge sequesters the jurors and chaos ensues.
