Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

A group of mercenaries ventures into Isla Nublar, six months after the catastrophic events of Jurassic World. Their mission is to retrieve DNA from the remains of the Indominus Rex, which rests at the bottom of the park's lagoon.

The mercenaries successfully collect a bone fragment from the lagoon but narrowly escape the monstrous Mosasaurus and the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex. In the chaos, the lagoon gate is accidentally left open, allowing the Mosasaurus to swim into the ocean.

Three years later, a Senate hearing takes place in Washington, D.C., debating the fate of the remaining dinosaurs on Isla Nublar, as a volcanic eruption threatens the island. Dr. Ian Malcolm argues that the dinosaurs should perish to correct the mistakes of their creation.

In response to the Senate's vote against rescuing the dinosaurs, Claire Dearing founds the Dinosaur Protection Group. She advocates for the survival of these creatures, expressing her views on their rights to live.

Claire receives a call from Benjamin Lockwood, John Hammond's former partner in cloning technology. She visits Lockwood's estate in Northern California, where he unveils a bold plan to relocate the dinosaurs to a new sanctuary island.

Lockwood and his aide Eli Mills enlist Owen Grady, the former Velociraptor trainer, to help in their mission of locating Blue, the last Velociraptor. Owen is hesitant but agrees to assist with the rescue of the dinosaurs.

Upon arriving in Isla Nublar, Claire, Owen, and their team work to reactivate the dinosaur tracking system. They hope to locate Blue, but the mission faces immediate dangers as various predatory dinosaurs roam the island.

As the team navigates the island, the long-anticipated volcanic eruption starts to devastate Isla Nublar. The group is forced to escape amidst the chaos, racing against time to survive while reuniting from perilous encounters.

Back at Lockwood's estate, Maisie overhears a secretive meeting between Mills and auctioneer Gunnar Eversol, who plot to auction off captured dinosaurs. Mills reveals an intention to fund the creation of the Indoraptor using the dinosaurs’ DNA.

Maisie informs Lockwood of the auction plans, but tragedy strikes when Mills turns against Lockwood, leading to his death. The dark ambition to profit off the dinosaurs weighs heavily as the fate of the creatures hangs in the balance.

As dinosaurs are caged at the estate, Claire and Owen are imprisoned. Owen escapes with the help of a Stygimoloch and heads towards the live auction of the Indoraptor, unleashing chaos at the venue as they seek to take back control.

The Indoraptor, initially thought to be tranquilized, reveals its sinister strength, wreaking havoc on the auction house. During the ensuing chaos, it brutally attacks various individuals, heightening the sense of danger.

With a hydrogen cyanide gas leak threatening lives, Maisie decides to free the captured dinosaurs, defending their existence against Owen's warnings. This bold act signifies her refusal to let them perish like their predecessors.

With chaos erupting, Mills meets a gruesome end at the hands of the carnivorous dinosaurs, as tensions peak. Owen, Claire, and Maisie barely escape the estate while the freed dinosaurs embrace their newfound freedom.

In a newly convened Senate hearing, Dr. Malcolm argues for the coexistence of humans and dinosaurs. The film concludes with scenes of dinosaurs reclaiming spaces in both the wilderness and urban environments, signaling a new beginning.
