The concert film records James Brown’s performance at the Boston Garden on April 5, 1968, filmed by WGBH‑TV the night after Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination. The live broadcast aimed to deter riots. After circulating as a bootleg, Shout! Factory released it on DVD in 2008 as part of the ‘I Got the Feelin’ – James Brown in the ’60s’ box set, and later issued a stand‑alone edition.
