A early Soviet‑era Azerbaijani propaganda film targeting Islam, notable for being created almost entirely by Azeri cast and crew and directed by an Azeri filmmaker who later achieved local fame despite his early cooperation with the Bolshevik regime. The story follows a corrupt molla who exploits a peasant for years, then, after the Revolution, the peasant brings him before the newly established People’s Court, where the molla receives justice.
