During the 1930s in California's apple orchards, a strike erupts as hundreds of migrant workers unite to challenge the authority of their wealthy landowners. Jim Nolan, a fervent and idealistic young man, leads the burgeoning movement, driven by a strong belief in resistance. As the collective action gains momentum, it transforms into a powerful and unexpected force, presenting challenges for both the workers and those in control. The strike tests the resolve of all involved and reveals the complexities of fighting for justice.
