This compelling documentary explores the unexpected impact of Professor Gene Sharp’s influential book, "From Dictatorship to Democracy." Sharp’s framework of 198 strategic "weapons" has served as a guide for activists across the globe, inspiring movements for change from Serbia and Egypt to Ukraine and Syria. The film examines how these methods have empowered leaders to challenge authoritarian regimes and advocate for democratic freedom in diverse regions, including Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East, and even influencing contemporary movements like Occupy Wall Street.
