Regional kung‑fu champion and honor‑bound assassin Tu Ta Shen aims to unify his title with rival Nan Pa Tien’s by challenging top fighters. After defeating an opponent whose shame drives him to suicide, the dying man begs Tu to confront Nan’s Manchu supporters. Sa Woo, the opponent’s son, attacks Tu for revenge but is easily bested. Tu offers to train him, and together they set out to honor the dying man’s request and fulfill Sa’s vow of vengeance.
