A vain, past‑glory actress Hedy Lamarr goes to a plastic surgeon hoping to become the 14‑year‑old girl she imagines herself to be. After being caught shoplifting by Mary Woronov, she faces a surreal courtroom where Tavel presides as judge and her five ex‑husbands serve as jurors. Throughout the proceedings Hedy stays self‑absorbed, constantly posing, primping and launching flamboyant renditions of “I Feel Pretty” and “Young at Heart.”
